Les Paul 70’s Deluxe

Make: Gibson
Condition: Excellent
Year: 2021
Finish: 70’s Cherry Sunburst

First released in 1969, the Deluxe saw the introduction of the Mini Humbucker to the Les Paul lineup. Mini Humbuckers retain the hum-free performance of their full-sized cousins but with a somewhat clearer and brighter tonality. The Deluxe has features that were inspired by those early models from the 1970s, with a non-weight relief mahogany body and bound maple top, a bound mahogany neck with a rounded C profile, vintage-style Keystone tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and a traditional Les Paul control layout with 2 Volume and 2 Tone controls hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors.

Aesthetically, this pre owned Les Paul is in exceptional, near mint condition. There are no significant nicks or dings anywhere on the body or around the edges or the headstock. There is no buckle rash on the back, and all of the chrome hardware is shiny and new with no signs of corrosion. The only discernible signs of use are two very small, hardly noticeable marks on the inside bottom edge of the headstock, likely from a guitar hanger and on the lower back of the guitar. The frets show little to no sign of wear with plenty of life left in them. This instrument weighs 8.0 lbs.

Functionally, this guitar is in perfect working condition. The pots are not scratchy and the pickups sound great as they should.
