This particular guitar is used but in excellent condition. Functionally, this guitar is perfect. The original tuning machines are tight and hold tune properly. The action is low with plenty of adjustment in the truss rod in both directions. The frets show some light to moderate wear with a few very small divots on a few of the frets. The original bridge and tailpiece assembly works perfectly and is easy to make adjustments on. The switch and the knobs turn smoothly with no stickiness or scratchiness and the pickups sound great.
Aesthetically, this guitar looks just as good as it sounds. There are no significant nicks or dings on the corners of the headstock or the back or edges of the neck. There are one or two barely discernible marks on the face of the headstock, but none through the finish. The fingerboard shows some slight signs of use but has no major divots in the wood that you can feel while you play. There are no major nicks or dings on the edged of the body, and none on front, back, or sides, with the exception of one or two hardly noticeable, very small marks. All of the chrome hardware is still shiny and shows no signs of rust or corrosion. There is some moderate pick scratching but only on the pick guard, and almost no buckle rash to be seen.
Overall, this guitar is in exceptional condition for it’s age, and would make an excellent next step guitar for a budding musician, or a great workhorse guitar for a seasoned performer.
